The vision behind Augma Biomaterials arose from the inspiration of Amos Yahav, DMD, to find a bone graft substitute for a broad spectrum of indications. Dr Yahav is the Chairman of the Board and Founder of Augma Biomaterials Ltd. As the inventor of biphasic calcium sulfate Dr. Yahav is the leading expert in the field and shares his practical knowledge with dentists around the world. His practical knowledge and experience is combine with a desire to combine simplicity, efficiency and proven results in the field of dental surgery. Dr. Yahav is known worldwide for the revolutionary products he invented, which aim to improve the results of oral augmentation. In April 2019, Dr. Yahav received the Thomas Edison Award for innovation. Augma Biomaterials continues to operate under these principles, to bring further development and innovation to the dental field, for the benefit of both clinicians and patients.
